Tips on Submitting Your Employee Lists for CT Time Studies

Posted by Pam Katz, CompuClaim on Wed, Jan 22, 2014

This week our Connecticut school districts have begun the process of submitting their employee lists that are required as part of the Random Time Study process.

For school districts who are participating in the Connecticut Medicaid School-Based Child Health (SBCH) program there have been changes that need to be reviewed before you submit your employee lists.

Who should be included on the Employee Lists?

  1. SBCH Qualified Providers who deliver Direct Medical Services, including those who conduct a combination of direct services and/or administrative activities.

  2. SBCH Medicaid Billing Personnel, including those who conduct a variety of administrative activities

  • Employee Lists should reflect direct services provided by qualified and eligible providers as outlined in your CT State plan.

  • Districts may provide the names of all staff performing Administrative duties that are part of the School-based Medicaid program.

In order for your district to receive additional reimbursement revenue for your Cost Report Allocation and settlement you must follow all requests for documentation and time studies as outlined by DSS.

Providers that are included on the employee lists for each district may be selected for the Random Time Study. This information is needed to determine rates for services being provided for the school-based Medicaid program based on a sampling from each district across the State.
