Connecticut Districts have been officially notified this week of their reconciliation for their 2011-2012 cost reports. Checks have been processed and should be mailed within the week.

All districts received an email from DSS on 6/24/14 with their attached certification and settlement pages which require a final signature from the district's superintendent. Included were the final desk review of your district's cost report and the settlement calculation file.

Once you receive your district's settlement check make sure the requested documentation forms are emailed back to the Department of Social Services (DSS) as a scanned copy and are both signed and dated to DSS.SBCH@ct.gov or they can be submitted by fax to 860-424-4812.

If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Blackwood from the CT SBCH Program Reimbursement & CON @ Kathleen.Blackwood@ct.gov

For some districts reconciliation amounts were affected by the prior time study overall State results. Time Studies are calculated based on the number of participants throughout the State to determine percentages for each districts reconciliation. It is important for all districts to participate in the time study so that results do not affect district reimbursement.

Our districts have worked very hard to maximize their revenue this past year and we are once again proud to have been able to support and assist you. There are many changes coming to our program and know that we will continue to update you and work together to help you reach your true potential.
