Following a Medicaid Manual is a lot easier than you may think. Our guest blogger Mike Bodensteiner once again shares his views with our readers......
"I recently purchased a new flat screen television for my living room. I could not wait to watch my alma matter with high def resolution that would undoubtedly be the envy of every fantasy football league.
As I ripped open the box and closely inspected the back of my new prize, I was dazzled at all of the connections..none of which matched the cords coming out of the wall and satellite box. A cursory review of the owners manual provided me with Japanese symbols and wording that would make an MIT graduate blush. The manual gave me no clue as to the appropriate next steps. Any hope of watching anything on the new screen had quickly faded into despair.
It was not until my wife actually read the manual was I able to make any sense of my new toy. Before long, I was sitting back watching my beloved Cornhuskers. Welcome to Medicaid! Take my word for it, Medicaid manuals read a lot like the back of your television manual…only drier and more complicated".
The key to a successful Medicaid service is making sure Service Agencies have staff in place that not only read the manual, but also understand the intricacies of the myriad of policies and regulations that may be different from state to state.

The partnership between CompuClaim and Greenbush can help make Medicaid, perhaps not less complicated, but more understandable. We can provide the tools to help districts have a clear understanding with a step by step guide so they can sit back and enjoy the show.
