Our team here at CompuClaim certainly recognizes the importance of giving back to our community. When the Newport Babe Ruth League requested our sponsorship, our team was more than happy to show our support.
Newport's Babe Ruth League held the "Newport Babe Ruth Golf Classic" on October 6th at the Jamestown Country Club. The organization was seeking Tee Sponsors whose donations go towards generating money for the League Scholarships. These scholarships allow the League to make sure all the children in Newport have the chance to play baseball. The Babe Ruth league proudly states that they have never turned a child away from playing baseball. They make it part of their mission to not only teach the kids how to learn the rules of baseball, but to also instill valuable lessons in them along the way. The league not only gives children a chance to play baseball, but also functions as a support and care system for them.
Since children's needs are a large component in the work we do, our team was more than willing to seize the opportunity to give back to our community's children. Our contribution to the "Golf Classic" is just one of many ways our team works to support our local community.
The Babe Ruth League is run completely by volunteers with a common goal; to teach the kids to be responsible, respectful of the game and a good teammate. With such a supportive event held by a successful, non-profit organization; we are honored to sponsor the Babe Ruth League, whose values closely reflect our own.
With the organization slogan "where the kids come first", our team leaped at the chance to help such an amazing cause that parallels our own mission.
