The National Alliance for Medicaid in Education (NAME) provides support and information to those working in school-based Medicaid programs around the country. Members of the organization include school districts, State Medicaid agencies, State Departments of Education, as well as consulting organizations and federal agencies.
At the NAME Conference you will have the opportunity to share current information, news, research, successful systems and best practices with members and other interested individuals and organizations on a wide array of issues pertinent to Medicaid covered services delivered in public schools. Some of the educationla and net working opportunities include:
• A forum for professional development to enhance the capacity of school personnel, clinicians, administrators and others to comply with federal Medicaid and special education requirements.
• Building relationships with federal agencies and other national organizations and agencies who are also interested in supporting school based health services programs.
• Networking between Medicaid and special education professionals.
• Opportunities for NAME attendees to become engaged and actively involved in the organization.
This is a wonderful opportunity for school Medicaid professionals to meet, exchange ideas, learn from each other, and stay current on school Medicaid issues.CompuClaim together with some of our Michigan districts will be presenting a workshop on Medicaid Compliance. This session will cover the elements of compliance and the proactive steps that are necessary to ensure that your school program meets all necessary aspects of a compliance program.

The Anysia Drumheller Memorial Conference Scholarship
The annual Scholarship will provide up to $1,000 for the reimbursement of reasonable costs for travel to and lodging at the NAME Annual Conference. Anysia’s numerous contributions to NAME, determination to recruit new members, and service to NAME members are commemorated with this generous scholarship. The deadline has been extended to August 30,2013.
