Save The Bay
Swim for Narragansett Bay July 20th, 2013
This weekend join our CompuClaim family as we applaud the efforts of Peter Carson, President and founder of our company. Peter will be swimming his 13th Save The Bay swim this Saturday, July 20, 2013. Through his passion and commitment to working towards one of life's most precious resources he has helped raise funds that support the efforts of this meaningful organization that is close to his heart.
Save The Bay protects, restores and improves the ecological health of the Narragansett Bay region, including its watershed and adjacent coastal waters, through an ecosystem-based approach to environmental action; defends the right of the public to use and enjoy the Bay and its surrounding waters; and fosters an ethic of environmental stewardship among people who live in or visit the Narragansett Bay region.
Save The Bay was founded on the community’s desire to protect our most precious resource Narragansett Bay. The organization has accomplished this by initiating programs that improve water quality and promote balanced use, responding to pollution incidents and threats, and advocating for policies that invest in keeping the Bay healthy.
Within the Bay Community up at the State House and on the water as the Baykeeper and South County Coastkeeper Save The Bay strives to increase public awareness on these issues and is the largest and most influential environmental group in Rhode Island. By supporting the Bay Swim, you join thousands of people who care about the Bay in extraordinary ways.
