Cost Reconciliation and Settlement Process Update

Expect Notification of Check Amount
Week of 6/17/13

The news we have been waiting for began this Monday, June 10th when the Department of Social Services (DSS) began the process of calculating settlements to our districts.Cost Reconciliation and Settlement Process Update

An agreement has been reached with Centers of Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and DSS to begin the process of calculating 2010-2011 cost settlements for the districts. Instructions have been given and formulas and calculations have been added to templates so that settlement estimations can be completed.

The State consulting agency has confirmed with us that all of CompuClaim's clients have been reviewed and sent to the State for settlement calculations to begin.

Checks will begin to be mailed out in batches and in our best estimation plan on having your checks by June 30th.

We have been assured that within the next week an email will be sent to our clients from the State with the amount of your settlement check that you will be receiving. We will then be able to give you an exact date of when to look for that long awaited check in the mail.

CompuClaim’s commitment to our clients is our top priority. We have been in constant contact with DSS to provide you with the most updated information because we know this is crucial to your school budgets.
