The day we have all been waiting for is really going to happen!revenue coming, reconciliation checks

We are excited to share our most updated information with all our valued clients regarding  reconciliation and settlement checks.

The Department of Social Services (DSS) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS)have reached an agreement this week that includes validation of the 2010-2011 Cost Report time studies.

What does this mean to our school districts?

A letter has been viewed and approved this week by both DSS and CMS that outlines the validation agreement for Time Study methodology.

DSS is waiting for the letter to be submitted officially by CMS within the next few days.

Once the letter is submitted DSS will begin calculating and applying the approved statistics for each districts Cost report submission.

Currently desk reviews are being returned to DSS for them to begin calculating these statistics. This means that as each district’s approved reports are given to DSS, they will be able to determine the amount due to the district and checks will be generated.

DSS is extremely hopeful that checks will begin to be generated within the next 1- 2 weeks.

As soon as we are notified that this process begins CompuClaim will be sending out notification to you of when to expect your long awaited checks.

Be sure to watch for our latest e-mails and notifications as we will provide you with this exciting news!
